Electronic Signature Add-on
Where a signature remains a legal
requirement, E-forms can be transmitted
electronically, but the declaration pages
will have to be printed, signed and returned
by post. This will slow down E-form
administration.
Victoria Forms supplies the E-Signing Add-on
where forms are used in the organisation’s
staff or partners can be signed
electronically. Forms can then be 100% paper
free.
At design time, signature fields are positioned on form and document pages.
For appropriate users and for forms for which E-signing is configured, an E-Sign button appears on the form viewer interface.
After the form is completed, clicking the E-Sign button initiates a validation check of the form. When the form is error-free it is then date stamped. Signature fields on the form are then enabled. Clicking into a signature fields initiates Victoria Forms proprietary E-signing software.

Users then make their normal signature with a stylus on a signature pad (products are available from various vendors). Alternatively, for users with Tablet PCs, they make sign on screen.
The signature is the encoded and is displayed on the signature fields on screen.
Signed forms may then be submitted to the server.
Once opened from the server, forms may then be printed with the signature appearing on the printed page.
With Victoria Forms’ document system exporting software the signature will appear in the form image sent to the document system.
Victoria Forms E-Signing technology (patented all applicable territories) is unique:
- It is NOT hardware specific. It works with E-Signing devices and conventional graphics tablets supplied from a range of vendors. From devices costing 400 down to those costing 20. It also works with all Tablet PCs. The signing feature can therefore be made available to external users who may already be using E-signing devices for other purposes.
- It does NOT require users to
pre-install any proprietary software.
The software works within a unmodified
browser. This makes use of E-signing
facility much easier for external users.
